Born in Mtatiele, a small town in the Eastern Cape,
Mthebeni eMtee Ndevu aka “Emtee Da Hustla” to his fans, is a pure talent that has taken South Africa by storm.
Mthembeni grew up in Rockville where he discovered and embraced his love for music. The 23-year-old rapper discovered his passion for spitting catchy rhymes at the age of 9 at Yeoville primary school during a talent show in 2001. He participated in musical activities from joining the choir to taking part in school plays. Emtee completed matric at Barnata high school where he became the youngest choir conductor. This earned him awards and first income at 17 at provincial competitions for his school and his Marimba band.
2008 was a year where Emtee pushed mixtapes amongst his peers and gained streetcred. In 2010 Emtee met rapper Maraza, whom he collaborated with on a song titled ‘In it to win it’. Which helped build his name on the streets. They started a group called ‘4front’, specializing in electro, dub step and rap. 2013 saw the group split to focus on solo careers. Emtee released an EP called “Do it Yourself” (DIY).
Soweto brewed hip-hop DJ & rapper Sandile Nkululeko Mkhize aka DJ Citi lyts is a great testament to building from the ground up.
City Lyts discovered his love for rap music at Yoeville Primary School as he participated in school activities such as Hip Hop & Pantsula dance groups and also partaking in the school choir. In high school he formed a hip-hop group called Flipside. This kicked off his career with performances at club events such as BlackOrchard and Club Keys.
Citi Lyts rst opportunity to DJ was when met hip-hop artist F Eezy and worked with him as a DJ and hype man. He later went on to work with his brother Pro- Kid which assisted in further building on his skills as a DJ.
It was his music circle of friends that led him to meet and work with the producer behind SA biggest song Roll-up, - “Ruff” and the award-winning artist Emtee Da Hustler -, that his career catapulted putting a spot light on him as one of SA DJ’s to watch-out for in 2016.
MISS PRU DJ
Born and bread in the Vaal triangle, Prudence Sebalo aka Miss Pru has always had a love for the performing arts. At school she had the opportunity to experiment with Drama and dance;
it was DJ’ying that caught her attention. Miss Pru learnt how to DJ and spend time harnessing her skills in 2008 and 2009.
Miss Pru managed herself as an artist and worked hard to build a name for herself as a female house DJ.
It was during that period that she received invites to showcase her skills at big events such as the Southern African Music Conference and Dance Ritual featuring Louise Vega and Josh Milan. She has traveled outside of the country, recently attended the WMC, which took place in Miami she got an opportunity to perform with world class DJs.
Other countries she was also invited to perform in were Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, The U.S as well as Swaziland.
Jabulani Hadebe was born and bread in a small town named Bergville in Kwazulu Natal. Known to his fans as “Sjava Ka Jama”, the proudly Zulu youngster is a great exemplar of true artistry - having trusted his passion for the arts from childhood and actively persuing a carrer within the entertainment industry.
The multi-facited artist was rst known for his acting and musical compositions. He has acted on SA’s biggest soapies such as Generations, Zone 14, 7de laan, Soul City and the controversial Gugu no Andile..
Sjava recently featured on Miss Pru hit single “Ameni” which also features the Ambitiouz Entertainment family of artists and reached over 250 000 free-downloads. His prominent feature and hook on the chorus is much appreciated by fans at festivals as they sing along.
Sjava ka Jama released his debut single titled “Ekseni” in April 2016; trending on twitter that same morning of release and reaching over 62 000 free-downloads thus far.
Anele Mbisha, known to his fans as Saudi, was born and bred in one of Soweto’s townships, Senaone. Growing up in a family that loved music and had a large collection of records. The likes of Brenda Fassie, Michael Jackson and Nina Simone inspired him to pursue music as a career. The 21yr old recorded his rst song on an electronic keyboard at the tender age of 13.
2016 sees Saudi propelling to greater heights as he currently features in the hit single “Ameni” by Miss Pru, which features Emtee, Fi Cooper, B3nchmark, A reece sjava and Saudi.
As a producer and songwriter, Saudi talents played a role on A-reece it single “I couldn’t” and DJ Citi Lyts hit “Washa” featuring the ambitiouz family of artist.
Following his rst feature, Saudi’s debut single under Ambitiouz Entertainment “There she go” was released
on the 15th of April on free download. Coined African

Amanda Benedicta Antony, known to her fans as Amanda Black was born and bread in the Eastern Cape in the city of Mthatha.
The 22 year old Singer- Songwriter was born on the 24 of July 1993. Having moved around a lot throughout her childhood, Amanda is true child of the soil, having lived in both the Eastern Cape and Johannesburg. Her musical influences are a result of her exposure to different ways of life having attended a number of primary schools and high schools as her family moved. She completed her high school studies in Port Elizabeth at Kabega Christian School and matriculated in 2011.
For her Tertiary education Amanda enrolled at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth where she took up a course in Music studies, Amanda says her mother insisted that she had to study further and the natural option to study to her was of course her greatest passion. She Graduated in 2015 with a Diploma in Music Education.
Born and raised in the East of Johannesburg, Katlehong, Thato "Neo" Meje is a talented and vibrant artist that South Africa needs to be on the lookout for. The ambitious 18 year old musician started making music at the age of 13 with his peers.
His influence as a child came from watching Kwaito legends leading him to be exposed to the Kwaito trend at an early stage. He adapted to the sound and also kept his ear open to various other styles which led him to take interest in the sounds of RnB legends such as R.Kelly and Usher.”
He later allowed hip hop to dominate his style and made a decision to adapt to the hip hop scene. Neo draws inspiration from notable international award winning artists, J.Cole, Drake and more importantly Lil Wayne. Locally he is inspired by Kwaito legend Mdu, Mzekezeke and award winning artist and stable mate Sjava.
Meje decided to stick with his first name “Neo” as his stage name after he was previously recognized as "Meezy”. He let the name "Meezy" go because it didn’t have a deeper meaning than NEO as the definition of Neo is Gift. For the longest period, Neo was making music for the purpose of passion, until it came to a point where he wanted to make it musically viable.
Raised in the South Coast of Durban in a village called Umzinto, Sindiswe Magoso is a 18 year old singer that is ready to take the music scene by storm.
It was at the age of 8 when she began to discover and groom her musical gift. This talented songstress used her musical interests and love for Hip Hop and Jazz music to pursue a career in music which led her to gravitate towards the sounds and style of the late Lebo Mathosa and Brenda Fassie. Her musical career finally surfaced in 2017 when she decided to join award winning record label Ambitiouz Entertainment and created a stage name for her persona, La Sauce.
Sindisiwe Magoso’s character along with her diverse cultures, multilingualism and style have a great influence on her stage name LaSauce. As it is she speaks four different languages including Arabic.
Since her signing with Ambitiouz Entertainment, she released her debut single “Coolerbag” which is a song inspired by the youth and the energy one has when going out and enjoying life. The single carried a lot of buzz having over 26 000 downloads and being on high rotation on national radio stations all over South Africa followed by the colorful visuals that match the song.
KLY, whose real name is Siyabonga Mkhize, is a 23 year old singer, songwriter and creative that was born in KZN and raised in Johannesburg.
KLY [which originated as an acronym for Keep Love Young] was formerly known as a dancer. He showed off his dance prowess by dancing for a hip hop crew called 300. It wasn’t’ long until KLY’s love for music increased.).
KLY started getting musically inspired by the likes of Drake, Party Next Door, Wizkid and Trey Songz. In his early days of being exposed to the entertainment space, the self-taught singer and songwriter initially aspired to be a rapper. He then took it upon himself to download videos and tutorials that influenced him to enter the music industry, this led to his first studio experience.
Since 2010, KLY had been working on perfecting his vocals for 7 years as well as strengthen his writing skills. KLY has co-written Mafikizolo’s hit single “Kucheza” which is currently surfing at over 1 Million views on YouTube as well as “Wagwan” by Gemini Major to name a few, this was a result of his dedication and hard work. Expanding his career as a musician, KLY joined award winning Record label Ambitiouz Entertainment. “Ambitiouz will give the push that I need and want to have and only makes sense as far as pushing this career forward” he says.
Rapper Priddy Ugly, whose birth name is Richardo Moloi, was born on April 2nd, 1992, in Luanda Angola. He grew up in Meadowlands and later relocated to Kempton Park.
Before being exposed to the music and entertainment industry, Priddy Ugly was a proficient sportsman. He previously attended the Moroka Swallows Academy and later competed for South Africa’s National Athletics youth team.
The Meadowlands bred talent is not new to the show business, he partook in various dance competitions and was awarded Best Male Dancer at the St Peter’s National Dance Tournament. In addition to this, he also seized the number 1 spot at one of the biggest hip hop dance festivals in the Southern Hemisphere, The Masters of Rhythm.
His music career began in 2007 when he joined the boy group, Blaque which was signed by H.U.G.E Entertainment. It was not long until Priddy Ugly went solo under Aviator Management and was featured on veteran rapper and producer Amunishn’s album “The Principle”. In the year 2012, Priddy Ugly released his first solo debut album “The Ugly Truth”. 2016 was a good year for Priddy Ugly as he became the first African ambassador for the Innovative international lifestyle company, Diesel as well as an ambassador for the premium flavored beer Liberado , in addition he dropped a mixtape titled “You Don’t Know Me Yet” which earned him a South African Hip Hop Award nomination.
Phiwe Unami Tini who is better known as “Kid Tini” is an up and coming young artist with a fresh take on Hip-Hop with catchy hooks and skillful lyricism.Born in Butterworth (Eastern Cape, South Africa). He is not new to the music industry as he has previously worked with recognized South African hip hop artists. With great poise and zeal, this19 year old raps with the precision and depth of someone twice his age.
The Pretoria-based artist got his musical inspiration from his older brother. He heard this brothers Demo’s at the young age of 10 and was fascinated at the fact that he personally knew someone who could rap. He initially thought that rapping was for famous people on TV only. His older brother helped him begin his professional career by supplying him with equipment as well as exposing him to certain dynamics in the music business.
The Lyricist joined Ambitiouz entertainment in May 2017 and just shortly after joining, he released two smash singles under the label, with one being New School Bully which showcases his lyricism and is accompanied by matching visuals. Following New School Bully, Kid Tini released Bekezela where he featured stable vocalist Lisa who added a soft and soothing element to the song. Both singles have received positive criticism.
Blaq Diamond is a South African Afro-Pop duo that is composed by Ndumiso Mdletshe and Sphelele Dunywa who are better known as Ndu and Danya. Both born in 1994 and bred in Ladysmith, Kwa Zulu Natal, Ndu and Danya shared a lot in common which led them to embark on a musical journey together.
Ndu is a 22 year old producer, singer and songwriter that started singing at the tender age of 8. His team mate, Danya, is a 22 year old who had always been attracted by fame. He made it a point to engage in tasks, like soccer, that were followed by a large audience and got him recognition.
Their first encounter was back in 2010 when they went on a school trip together where they both partook in a music cypher in the school bus, that’s when they realised that they’re both talented and can use this to their advantage. The duo began dedicating themselves to growing their skills and talent not as individuals but together. This led to them participating in school functions which earned them fame in the community and local surroundings.
The influence of the Hip Hop culture played a big role in the creation of the group, they took part in hip hop stage battles and poetry and this resulted in their musical connection as well as them sharing more knowledge with regards to the industry.
Born on the 15th of February 1987 in a town called Ladysmith located in KwaZulu Natal, Busisiwe Edith Twala better known as Cici, is a renowned singer,
actor and fierce dancer that has had an impact on the growth
and development to the modern pop music scene in South Africa. The beginning of her music career can be dated back to the year 2003 with the main influence being traditional pop craft. The pop & Rnb sensation who is a former 999 signee
is not new to the music industry as she has marked her name in golden words by sheer work and talent having previously worked with Mafikizolo as well as showcasing her talent on Idols SA and SA popstars.
Her seamless vocals and distinctive sound has been making
moves, posing her as a true contender in the music scene
with hits such as Runaway and Bad Girl which cemented her
commercial success in the entertainment industry. Runway
placed Cici in rarified air as it was highly rotational on
national radio and TV stations.
This immensely talented artist earned her stripes as she
became the winner of the South Africa Artist & Development
Association auditions which were held countrywide.
Her vocal ability is top class as she has also dabbled in theatre
and cabaret singing. She can also be recognized through her
acting career where she played the role of Lihle on the South
African drama series Rhythm City and her role on SABC1’s
highly popular, most glamorous, longest-running locally
produced soap, Generations.
Reigning from what is known as the city of endless talent- Durban, Londiwe Siphiwokuhle Zulu better
recognised as Londie London is a 25 year old fierce multi - talented
artist that was raised in Phoenix. Born on the 13th of April, Londie London attended Green Heights Primary School and
prior to that her music interests surfaced when she was 6 years old leading her to perform at Christmas parties with her older sister and family gatherings.
She later moved to Emalahleni where she completed her Matric year at Hoerskool Tegnies in Witbank. Known for her sexually provocative imagery and wild style, Londie London went on to study jewellery design and manufacturing at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).She partook in talent shows and was listed as a runner up winner at the UJ Idols competition in the year 2013. She has then named Chrisette Michele, Erykah Badu as well as Billie Holiday as her musical influencers.
In the year 2015, this sultry artist jumped on a track with
Ghana’s multiple award winning afro beat artist, D-Black.
Her refreshing vocals brought the vibe to the single titled
“Ma Nonko” which carried a lot of traction in Ghana. The
precociously beautiful and multi-talent artist made a bold
professional move by signing to Ambitiouz Entertainment
in the Spring of 2017.
